One aspect of multi-color print reproduction stands out as the most intimidating, Achieving and maintaining high-quality, accurate, provable color has always been the printer's primary, daily frustration. The solution to this problem requires a targeted, proactive color management workflow. The goal is to bridge the gap between digital imaging and the physical substrate, ensuring consistency across different print jobs and materials. Providing this much needed and welcome remedy is the vertical market niche I have chosen to service. 

When a press and proof are not properly calibrated, making ready will require many pulls, thousands of sheets of paper, pound(s) of ink and perhaps hours of time to achieve a compromise.

The G7 calibration method is utilized to calibrate press and proof to the GRACoL color standard. LEAN Manufacturing principles 
are applied. Wozart demystifies the process and educates the printer to fully grasp the science. Variables are defined and controlled, including ink validation, substrate type, blanket wear, accurate ink flatline (press ink key zero settings), and accurate plates, among others. 

When a press and proof are properly calibrated, the pressman will hit the run button and start the count after the second pull, complete the press run, and move on to the next job.
